Anyway, my eyes have been burning pretty much on and off since I arrived here and Kevin contributes this to the amount of paprika dust floating around here locally. He indicated he never had seen it so bad. Admittedly, I was pretty tired last night so I almost fell for the story, however, when he did not know what paprika was made of, I became leery. He knows now, do you?
This morning was somewhat interesting. I did not anticipate that I would become the compass of the group. Innocently enough, we were in route to the legendary Cafe Mocha and ended up on the other side of Hanoi. We made several attempts to locate it on foot, taking in the many sights and smells. After the fourth of fifth attempt, however, we jumped in a cab only to find that the Cafe Mocha was a right, a left, and a right away from our hotel (perhaps 2 minutes of walking). So, I never thought I'd be the one who had to remind Kevin and Brian after breakfast how to get back to the hotel. It was a very revealing adventure indeed.
We are currently at GVI getting together the training materials and Brian is working on educating us on the walter filtration work he'll be completing (pretty impressive, I must say).
We're pretty excited for the train and are going to try to post a picture for you now.
